After the closure of the secondary state school, we opened our private comprehensive with upper secondary level in 2009 in Woltersdorf.
At the new school, the existing tradition of the former high school with vocational orientation was continued and expanded. Everything else is new. The lessons have changed and follows a modern approach. New forms of learning and methods are being implemented. Free work, individual study times and the usage of state-of-the-art technologies makes learning much livelier now.
New Building after 4 Years
After only 4 years of operations, we decided to construct a totally new building as we needed more space to grow. Together with the primary state school, we created the Woltersdorf School Campus enriching the location with a better educational offer.
Our comprehensive school is a three-course run facility in the lower secondary level and a two-course run facility in the upper secondary level.

Upper Secondary Level Graduation in 3 Years
In comparison to the grammar schools where students only have 2 years’ time to graduate, the students at our comprehensive school have 3 years’ time to develop the relevant knowledge in order to achieve their Abitur.
Degrees
Graduation ranges from an advanced vocational qualification up to the upper secondary level degree (Abitur). Each student can achieve the best possible degree according to their level of ability.
